THE CHALLENGE
Active was asked to implement the renewal of the new Data Center of the Atlanta with two important goals on the client side. Complete replacement of equipment with new high availability equipment , uninterrupted operation of the Datacenter and availability of applications.

THE SOLUTION
The solution provided by Active was the complete replacement of the old equipment with new Dell Servers and the Dell Cyber Recovery Solution. The Server & Storage Cluster was separated with the Cyber Recovery Solutions to achieve complete isolation of the company’s Backup Data.

Active used new PowerEdge R660xs VM Servers, Unity XT 380F Production Storage and Dell’s PowerProtect DD6400 Production Backup for the new cluster. In addition, Dell PowerEdge R360 Jump Server/R660xs CyberSense/R660xs CRS Management Host and Power Protect DD6400 Cyber Recovery Vault were selected for security.

Active designed and implemented a modern, high-availability Data Center infrastructure for ATLANTA AE, incorporating advanced Dell Cyber Recovery technologies and Operational Air Gap architecture. The solution was created to ensure business continuity, protect critical data and enable immediate recovery from cyber-attacks or ransomware incidents.
Through a fully isolated Cyber Recovery Vault, real-time monitoring and automated recovery workflows, the infrastructure offers increased resilience, security and availability, allowing ATLANTA SA to maintain uninterrupted operation of its business systems with minimal downtime.
